1-2-1 Cutting Curls with Confidence Course

Our in person signature course will take you through everything you need to know about cutting, styling and maintaining textured hair.

This course is will be curated to your specifications of the teams experience and desired outcome. I will come to your salon to train you and your team to cut curls with confidence by the end of the training day.

Here at Gypsy Rose Salon we have invested our time and energy into an area that has been greatly neglected. We now believe it is time to share our tried and tested model of texture cutting with other industry workers to provide a more inclusive and bespoke service.

What you will learn

- How to identify hair type
- Determine the best shape for texture
- How to overcome frizz anxiety
We will cover:
- Full consultation
- How to section
- When to cut without a comb
- Understanding weight distribution, shape, predicted outcome
- Cleansing, Hydrating, Moisturising
- Styling: what products to use, how to apply and when
- Drying: Brush technique, rake’n’shake, scrunch n go, root clipping, diffuse for volume, and office hair!
- This is where you will be performing the service on a live model
- You will have your own model to do everything that you have learned inside of the look and learn.
- Your educator will be on hand for any questions or assistance.
I encourage questions through out the entire day but feel that this will provide an opportunity to share any feedback and troubleshoot areas of concern.
